The Steamboat Springs High School Counseling Department provides equitable, student-centered support for every learner’s academic, career, and social-emotional growth. We strive to create a safe, inclusive environment where all students feel accepted, valued, and have a true sense of belonging. Through advocacy, collaboration, and connection, we empower students to grow with confidence, resilience, and purpose.

Vision Statement

The Steamboat Springs High School Counseling Department will foster a student community that embodies the core principles of S.A.I.L. (Spirit, Accountability, Inclusion, and Leadership). We aim to empower students to be resilient, compassionate, and self-directed individuals who embrace diversity, lead with integrity, and pursue lifelong growth. They will be prepared to navigate life’s challenges and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the world beyond.
